In response to the Commission's concern regarding the anchoring of the <br />dock, Mr. Fathelbab said the Commission could add an additional condition of approval to address the anchoring. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Kim Glaner, 261 South Triplet Lake Drive, <br />Casselberry, Florida came forward. In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Glaner said he agrees with staffs <br />recommendation. He said that his son is a mechanical engineer and assisted him with the design of the dock. He <br />said if a storm were approaching a Danforth Anchor would be used to anchor the floating portion of the dock. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address CU 17-07. Mr. Bryan made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approve CU 17-07 to allow a floating residential boat dock at 261 South Triplet Lake Drive based <br />on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated June 14, 2017, the four (4) conditions of approval <br />outlined in the staff report including Exhibits A — F and adding an additional condition of approval that the dock should <br />be tied down in a manner that it cannot become a projectile. Mr. Phillips seconded the motion. The motion passed <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br />Seventh Item of Business: CU 17-09: 3950 South U.S. Highway 17-92, Suite 2000. A conditional use request <br />to allow beer and wine sales (2COP) at 3950 South U.S. Highway 17-92, Suite 2000. Parcel ID 08-21-30-536- <br />0000-0010 <br />Mr. Dean Fathelbab, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated June 14, 2017, <br />and a PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the <br />PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Mr. Fathelbab made a correction to the <br />compliance with applicable laws and ordinances portion of the PowerPoint presentation stating that the word 'liquor" <br />should be deleted. <br />Mr. Fathelbab said staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 17-09 to allow on- <br />site consumption of beer and wine, 2COP, in conjunction with the operation of an events venue located at 3950 <br />South U.S. Highway 17-92, Suite 2000. He said staff's approval is based on the findings of fact and conclusions of <br />
