Mr. Bakalla seconded the motion. Mr. Bryan amended his motion that the boat dock <br />would be lowered one (1) foot below the ordinary high water elevation. Mr. Bakalla seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Seventh Item of Business: LPA 17-01: Adoption of 2017 CIP. An ordinance adopting the Capital Improvement <br />Program plan for 2016-2021 for the City of Casselberry. <br />Ms. Emily Hanna, Planner II, reviewed the information provided in staffs memorandum dated February 8, <br />2017, and a PowerPoint Presentation, to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the <br />presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Ms. Hanna said staff requests the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission acting as the Local Planning Agency review and provide a favorable recommendation to the City <br />Commission to adopt and incorporate the updated City's 5 year Capital Improvements Program (CIP) into the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />After a brief discussion, Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in <br />favor of, or in opposition to, the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address LPA 17-01. Mr. Van Meter made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission acting as the Local Planning Agency provide a favorable recommendation to the City <br />Commission to adopt and incorporate the updated City's 5 year Capital Improvements Program (CIP) into the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan. Mr. Phillips seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Eighth Item of Business: LPA 16-01: Temporary Signs Ordinance. An ordinance to amend multiple sections <br />related to temporary signs. <br />Ms. Emily Hanna, Planner II, reviewed the information provided in staffs memorandum dated February 8, <br />2017, and a PowerPoint Presentation, to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the <br />presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Ms. Hanna said she would like to continue this item until <br />the March meeting to give the Planning and Zoning Commission additional time to review the proposed ordinance. <br />She said that the City Attorney would attend that meeting to answer the Commissions questions. <br />
