In response to the Commission's question, Ms. Hanna said that the Commissioners could email her with any questions but they need to ensure that that communication is disclosed at the March meeting. Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address LPA 16-01, Mr. Van Meter made a motion to continue this item to the March Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. Mr. Bryan seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. Ninth Item of Business: Other Business. Comprehensive Plan Workshop with Consultants and UCF Students Ms. Emily Hanna, Planner II, explained that the City is currently updating the Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) and the Comprehensive Plan. She said tonight's meeting is to review the Comprehensive Plan and to review a new element that students from University of Central Florida developed. Ms. Hanna stated that the City hired Poulos & Bennett to produce an updated and streamlined plan, to combine the data and analysis and the elements into one document and to complete the EAR. Ms. Hanna stated that a representative from Poulos & Bennett and the students from University of Central Florida would provide presentations to the Commission. A brief recess was taken at 7:34 p.m. and the meeting reconvened at 7:39. Ms. Lucie Ghioto, Poulos & Bennett, 2602 East Livingston Street, Orlando, Florida presented a PowerPoint presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Ms. Ghioto said she is looking for feedback from the Commission. In response to the Commission's question, Ms. Ghioto said tonight's meeting is to provide an introduction and she is looking for general direction from the Commission. She said draft documents would be provided to the Commission at the next workshop. A brief discussion ensued regarding the process involved in updating the Comprehensive Plan and the EAR. Mr. Henson explained tonight's meeting is an overview as to what is to come to the Commission in future meetings.
