CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of January 23, 2017 — Regular Meeting Page 6 of 14 Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of budget Amendment #17-021 to recognize the contribution of the Talisman and Bainbridge trails. Audience Participation: The following individual came forward to address the Consent Agenda: Mr. Larry Littrell, 124 North Lost Lake Lane, expressed interest in Item F, Resolution 2943 relating to the North/South Connection, shared use path connecting Oxford Road to US Highway 17-92. He provided a copy of a brochure fi-om his company, Team Pain, showing SkateArt skate elements his company would be willing to donate to the City during the construction of the pathway, and asked the Commission to give serious consideration to the idea. No one else came forward to address the Consent Agenda. MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. Discussion: Commissioner Meadows expressed an interest in exploring the possibility of a SkateArt element as suggested by Mr. Littrell and requested that Item F be removed from the Consent Agenda for separate consideration and further discussion. AMENDED MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve the Consent Agenda as amended by removing Item F, Resolution 17-2943 — Sidewalk Reimbursement Agreement with CO -BB Casselberry Venture, LLC (North/South Connection) and Related Budget Amendment #17-022 for separate discussion and consideration. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Meadows. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. F. Resolution 17-2943 — Sidewalk Reimbursement Agreement with CO -BB Casselbel7y Venture, LLC (North/South Connection) and Related Budget Amendment 417-022 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO ENTER INTO A SIDEWALKRFIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE CO -BB CASSELBERRY VENTURES LLC. FOR THE NORTH/SOUTH CONNECTION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 17-2943 accepts the terms and conditions as presented in the Sidewalk Reimbursement Agreement with CO -BB Casselberry Venture, LLC to develop a shared use path that connects Oxford Road to US Highway 17-92 along Bainbridge at Casselberry Apartments northern property boundary (North/South Connection), and authorizes the Mayor to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. Consideration of related Budget Amendment # 17-022 is also requested. Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #17-022 will increase the Community Redevelopment
