E. Budget Amendment #17-002 — Recognition of Grant Proceeds for Purchase of LIDAR Speed Measurement Devices for a Traffic Safety Initiative Introduction: Consideration of Budget Amendment # 17-002 to recognize grant proceeds of $15,501 awarded for the purchase of LIDAR speed measurement devices for a traffic safety initiative is requested. Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #17-002 will increase the General Fund Justice Assistance Grant/2017-JAGC-3017 account #001-0000-331.22-10 and the Small Tools and Equipment/2017-JAGC-3017 account #001-0610-521.56-10 in the amount of $15,501 in each account. BA #17-002 Explanation of Request: Based upon the participation letter and the subsequent City Commission approval the Casselberry Police Department will purchase LIDAR speed measurement devices for a traffic safety initiative under the approved project titled: "LIDAR" Traffic Safety Initiative", grant #2017-JAGC-3017. This budget amendment will increase accounts in the Police Public Safety/Law Enforcement division and recognize the grant revenue in account 001-0000-331.22-10. There is no impact to the general fund. F. Budget Amendment #17-003 — Donations to Tree Replacement Fund for Lake Concord Park Introduction: Budget Amendment #17-003 provides for recognizing a donation from Casselberry Friends of the Park to the Tree Replacement Fund in the amount of $4,100 and establishing a budget of $4,100 in the Tree Replacement Fund in Fiscal Year 2017 for the purpose of new tree planting in Lake Concord Park. Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment # 17-003 will increase the Tree Replacement Fund Repairs and Maintenance account #115-0720-541.46-15 in the amount of $4,100 and the Donations from Private Sources account #115-0000-366.91-00 in the amount of $4,100.
