Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5-0. <br />A. Resolution 16-2900 — Recognizing the Retirement of John (Jack) Okell <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />IN RECOGNITION OF DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA BY WATER PRODUCTION PLANT OPERATOR II, JOHN (JACK <br />OKELL." <br />Mayor Glancy read Resolution 16-2900 in its entirety, after which she presented the framed original Resolution <br />to John (Jack) Okell, formally recognizing and expressing appreciation for his more than 26 years of public <br />service in the Public Works Department, and congratulating him on his retirement from the City of <br />Casselberry. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Resolution 16-2900. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 16-2900, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Hufford. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 5-0. <br />B. Resolution 16-2901 — Adoption of the Multimodal Transportation Master Plan <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 16-2901 by title as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE CASSELBERRY MULTIMODAL TRANSPORTATION <br />MASTER PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Assistant Public Works Director/City Engineer Kelly Brock gave a brief overview of <br />Resolution 16-2901, explaining that this was the long-awaited Transportation Master Plan for the City which <br />had been discussed in detail at a Commission Workshop held on Monday, May 16, 2016. He advised that the <br />biggest update since the draft presented at the May workshop was that the pavement analysis had been re -done <br />which freed up additional funding which allowed the addition of some more projects which previously did not <br />have funding. He added that there were some technical changes, addition of some language and updates to <br />some exhibits, and that all of these changes had been discussed and agreed upon by the Commission at the <br />May workshop. <br />
