Mr. Rice stated July 9, 2016, whenL pool was covered and when the pool covered there was no standing <br />water. <br />Mr. Rice stated there was water in the pool but not above the pool cover. <br />Mr. Crawford stated they were advised not to drain the pool as there was nowhere for the water to go. <br />The Special Magistrate who advised then of this. <br />Mr. Crawford advised it was a Code Enforcement Officer. <br />Nathan Johnson, 129 Pine Isle Dr advised that he was the Coe Officer at the time and he did advise them that <br />they could not drain the pool into the open street. MSI, Summer Davis was advised that the pool needed to be <br />shocked prior to having it covered. <br />Mr. Rice advised that if a pool is drained it does have the potential to burst out of the ground; this can cause a <br />greater safety hazard. <br />Mr. Campbell stated that is the picture clearly shows the clarity of the pool as the cover was being applied then <br />that would suffice. Mr. Campbell stated there are no pictures showing the clarity of the pool. <br />Finding of fact- The Special Magistrate made a finding in case # 16-00132, that the property is still not in <br />compliance and in the same condition as it was on July 14, 2016. The property was found in violation of ULDR <br />Section 3-10.3. It was ordered that a fine of $250.00 per day, to be imposed and continue until there is <br />compliance. <br />Disabled inoperable unlicensed vehicles,• ULDR Section 3-10.9 F <br />CE -16-00539 780 Bayou Dr <br />Mark Campbell, Lead Code Compliance Officer read the case history into record. Case number is CE -16- <br />00539. The property was found to be Non -Compliant on July 29, 2016 and on August 10, 2016. The City <br />requests that the $250 per day fine be imposed. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if the property owner was present. The owner was not present. <br />Finding of fact- The Special Magistrate made a finding in case # 16-00539, 780 Bayou Dr. This case is in <br />violation as of July 14, 2016, a correction date of July 28, 2016 was given for the violation to be corrected or a <br />fine of $50.00 per day would be imposed. As of July 28, 2016 the property continued to be in violation. It was <br />ordered that the fine of $50.00 be imposed. <br />No building permit; City Code Section 1-4.3 <br />CE -07-02311 945 Brydie Ct <br />Mark Campbell, Lead Code Compliance Officer advised that case number CE-07-023111ocated at 945 Brydie <br />Ct was in violation for No Building permit; City Code Section 1-4.3. A lien was imposed on this property in <br />2007 for building a sea wall without a permit. The City recommends a reduction of the lien from $66,900 to <br />$6,690 plus $950 administrative cost to $7,640.
