CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of April 11, 2016— Regular Meeting <br />Page 7 of 10 <br />CODIFICATION, EFFECTIVE DATE OF ORDINANCE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE FOR THE <br />APPROVED AMENDMENTS." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing for Ordinance 16 -1441 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, March 31, 2016. <br />Staff Presentation: City Clerk Donna Gardner advised that Ordinance 16 -1441 had been approved by the <br />City Commission on first reading on March 14, 2016. She stated that the ordinance proposed six charter <br />amendments that were basically cleanup items. She added that the Commission had accepted the Charter <br />Review Committee's report on January 25, 2016 and the report had been included in tonight's agenda <br />materials for reference. She stated she was available for questions should the Commission have any. <br />Budget Impact: This item has no additional budget impact at this time. All related election expenses for <br />required advertisements and ballot question translation have been anticipated and budgeted accordingly in <br />various line items in the Commission's budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk recommended adoption of Ordinance 16- <br />1441 on second reading. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy opened the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16 -1441. No one came <br />forward to address Ordinance 16 -1441. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16- <br />1441. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 16 -1441 on second and final <br />reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. No one came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />Commended all staff for their year -long efforts which had resulted in a successful audit, and <br />commended the Finance Department staff for their hard work during the audit process and <br />preparation of the CAFR presentation. <br />
