Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing for Ordinance 16 -1441 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Staff Presentation: City Clerk Donna Gardner advised that Ordinance 16 -1441 had been approved by the City Commission on first reading on March 14, 2016. She stated that the ordinance proposed six charter amendments that were basically cleanup items. She added that the Commission had accepted the Charter Review Committee's report on January 25, 2016 and the report had been included in tonight's agenda materials for reference. She stated she was available for questions should the Commission have any. Budget Impact: This item has no additional budget impact at this time. All related election expenses for required advertisements and ballot question translation have been anticipated and budgeted accordingly in various line items in the Commission's budget. Recommendation: The City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk recommended adoption of Ordinance 16- 1441 on second reading. Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy opened the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16 -1441. No one came forward to address Ordinance 16 -1441. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16- 1441. MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 16 -1441 on second and final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. 12. OTHER ITEMS No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. 13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of decorum. No one came forward. 14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT Commended all staff for their year -long efforts which had resulted in a successful audit, and commended the Finance Department staff for their hard work during the audit process and preparation of the CAFR presentation.
