CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of March 14, 2016 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 9 of 14 <br />Ms. Reischmann and Ms. Gardner explained that question number one had been re- worked in response to <br />some questions from Commissioner Meadows, and now clarified that Seats 4 and 5 (Seat 5 being the <br />Mayor /Commissioner seat) are held in concurrence with the presidential election year, and Seats 1, 2 and 3 are <br />held on the gubernatorial cycle. Ms. Gardner explained that currently the City's election date is different than <br />the actual general election and could be subject to change depending on possible future legislation, but she and <br />Ms. Reischmann were comfortable with the way the proposed amendment was written. Ms. Reischmann <br />advised that no other changes had been made from the proposed amendments the Commission had reviewed <br />and considered earlier. <br />Budget Impact: This item has no additional budget impact at this time. All related election expenses for <br />required advertisements and ballot question translation have been anticipated and budgeted accordingly in <br />various line items in the Commission's budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk recommended approval of Ordinance 16- <br />1441 on first reading. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Ordinance 16 -1441. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve Ordinance 16 -1441 on first reading, <br />as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Casselbegy Greenville Subdivision Site Plan (SPR 15 -17) <br />Staff Presentation: Development Services Manager Randy Woodruff explained that this item was a request <br />for approval of a site plan for the Casselberry Greenville Subdivision (SPR 15 -17), which represents a <br />development of community impact to create a new 41 lot garden home subdivision on 12 acres of property <br />within the Seminola Boulevard Overlay District located on the south side of Seminola Boulevard. He advised <br />that the proposed development would include an entry road from Seminola Boulevard and multiple amenities <br />including a dog park, tot lot, exercise equipment, community garden, community composter, entry fountains <br />and a fire pit. He further advised that the garden home product would have minimum 40 -foot wide lots and <br />would be minimum 2100 square feet two story units. He added that the applicant was proposing a six foot <br />precast concrete subdivision wall along Seminola Boulevard which would meet the Seminole Boulevard <br />Overlay District standards. He then presented a rendering of the proposed development and provided <br />additional details about the development features. <br />
