CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION
Minutes of February 22, 2016 — Regular Meeting
Page 6 of 17
F. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency Report
No report.
9. RESOLUTIONS
A. Resolution 16 -2833 — Reserve at Legacy Park Final Plat (SP 15 -06)
The City Clerk read Resolution 16 -2833 by title as follows:
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA,
AMENDING AND SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION 15 -2806; APPROVING THE "RESERVE AT LEGACY
PARK," FINAL PLAT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE."
Staff Presentation: Development Services Manager Randy Woodruff gave an overview of Resolution 16 -2833,
explaining that the resolution provided for amending the approval status of the Reserve at Legacy Park final plat.
He advised that the final plat represented a residential subdivision for the Pulte Group and private educational
institution for the Geneva School, both projects which would rely on an entry road off Seminola Boulevard. He
explained that the original Reserve at Legacy Park plat was approved by the City Commission on December 14,
2015 by Resolution 15 -2806; however, at that time there was some confusion in reference to whether the request
at that time was preliminary or final in nature. He further explained that, therefore, the final plat had been brought
back to the Planning and Zoning Commission on February 10, 2016 for clarification that it was indeed the final
plat. He advised that the new information was included in the meeting packets for the Commission's review, and
that the City Manager and the Community Development Director were recommending approval of Resolution 16-
2833.
Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget.
Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of
Resolution 16 -2833.
Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Resolution 16 -2833.
MOTION: Vice Mayor Hufford moved to approve Resolution 16 -2833, as presented. Motion
was seconded by Commissioner Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice
vote 5 -0.
10.
