CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 12, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 16 of 19 <br />Budget Impact: A budget amount of $50,000 was allocated within the 2014/2015 budget towards the <br />Neighborhood Grant Program and is available in the Planning Division account #001 - 210 - 515.82 -00. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of <br />the amended Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program for FY 14 -15. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Meadows moved to approve the Amended Neighborhood <br />Improvement Grant Program, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice <br />Mayor Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />B. City Manager Performance Evaluation Summary <br />Staff Presentation: Human Resources Manager Andy Brooks presented a brief summary ofthe results ofthe <br />City Manager evaluations for FY 2013 -2015, noting that the criteria which were included on the evaluation <br />were: community; democratic responsiveness; departmental operations; fiscal management, policy execution; <br />professional skills and integrity; relations with City Commission; and staff effectiveness. <br />Discussion: A brief discussion ensued regarding the evaluation summary, scores received from each of the <br />Commissioners individually; salaries for City Managers in the surrounding areas; and possible salary increase <br />based on the evaluation scores received. Each Commissioner expressed appreciation for the good job Mr. <br />Newlon was doing as City Manager and noted the percentage of salary increase they felt he should receive. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommends review of his performance evaluation summary for FY <br />13 -14. <br />Audience participation: No one came forward. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to increase the City Manager's salary by 5 %, <br />effective January 1, 2015. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments, Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. No one came forward. <br />
