Resolution 15 -2695 — Interlocal Agreement with Seminole County for Aquatic <br />Vegetation Management of Lake Howell <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />WITH SEMINOLE COUNTY FOR AQUATIC VEGETATION MANAGEMENT OF LAKE <br />HOWELL; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 15 -2695 approves the Interlocal Agreement with Seminole County for aquatic <br />vegetation management of Lake Howell, related to a proposed Seminole County MSBU (Municipal Service <br />Benefit Unit) to provide aquatic plant management services for the entirety of Lake Howell, including certain <br />properties within City limits, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />Budget Impact: There is no budget impact for the City of Casselberry in relation to approval of this item. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />15 -2695. <br />E. Resolution 15 -2697 — Extension of Agreement with Waste Pro of Florida, Inc. for <br />City Facilities Disposal Services and 2014 Consumer Price Index Rate Adiustment <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION OF THE AGREEMENT WITH WASTE PRO OF FLORIDA, <br />INC. TO PROVIDE COMMERCIAL WASTE CONTAINERS, HAULING AND DISPOSAL FOR <br />NINE (9) CITY OF CASSELBERRY FACILITIES AND RELATED ANNUAL RATE ADJUSTMENT <br />BASED ON THE 2014 CONSUMER PRICE INDEX (CPI); PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABMITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 15 -2697 approves the one (1) year extension of the Agreement with Waste Pro of <br />Florida, Inc. to provide commercial waste containers, hauling and disposal for nine (9) City of Casselberry <br />facilities, and an annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate adjustment of 1.7 %. <br />Budget Impact: Funds have been adequately budgeted in FY 2015 for City's monthly commercial solid waste <br />services in the General Fund Streets & Fleet Maintenance Construction Material Disposal account #001 -0720- <br />541.57-00; Fire account #001 - 0310 - 522.34 -00; Parks account #001- 0410 - 522.34 -00; Recreation account <br />#001- 0411 - 572.34 -00; Streets account #001 - 0720 - 541.34 -00; Water and Sewer Fund Other Contractual <br />Services in Distribution and Collection account #401- 0751- 536.34 -00; Water Reclamation account #401-0753 - <br />535.34 -00; and Water Production account #401 -0754 - 533.34 -00. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />15 -2697. <br />
