Resolution 15 -2691 — Request to Extend the Tenn of the Casselbm Community Redevelopment Agency "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RELATING TO COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT, REQUESTING AN EXTENSION OF THE AUTHORIZED TERM OF THE CASSELBERRY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BY TWO YEARS, TO SEPTEMBER 30, 2017, TO THE SEMINOLE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CONSISTENT WITH SECTION 163.363, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 15 -2691 finds that it is appropriate, proper and timely and in the best interest ofthe citizens of Casselberry and Seminole County that the term of the Casselberry CRA be extended an additional two years to September 30, 2017. Resolution 15 -2691 also formally requests that the Board of County Commissioners of Seminole County, Florida, extend the term of the Casselberry CRA to September 30, 2017 for the purpose of providing funding to the Casselberry Community Redevelopment Agency via the additional revenues that would be available through the receipt of additional tax increment fmancing revenues. Budget Impact: The Budget impact includes an estimated increase in revenue from FY 2015 through September 30, 2017 of $1,744.263 in the CRA trust fund through the addition of TIE (Tax Increment Financing) revenue as a result of the extension. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of Resolution 15 -2691. C. Resolution 15 -2694 — Agreement with The Daily City Food Truck Bazaar "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FLORIDA, AWARDING AND AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE DAILY CITY FOOD TRUCK BAZAAR; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 15 -2694 approves the agreement with The Daily City Food Truck Bazaar to manage all food trucks during the monthly Art & Music in the Park and food event held on the second Friday of the month at Lake Concord Park, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City of Casselberry. Budget Impact: Revenue received for the park user fees has been budgeted for FY 2015 in the General Fund Culture/Recreation Rental Fees account #001- 0000 - 347.26 -00. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 15 -2694.
