Mr. Bryce Gibson, 175 Northmoor Road, voiced concerns about the maintenance of the Casselberry Golf Course, and expressed hope that the City could work out a solution with the owners to keep the history of the course and the viability of the green space alive. 3. Mr, John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, shared information he had gathered regarding methods for generating revenues statewide and expressed his opinion that a statewide service tax would be preferable to collection of ad valorem taxes. No one else came forward. At Mr. Newlon's request, Construction & Permitting Manager Marty Pawlikowski gave a brief report regarding the road closures that will occur during the reconstruction of South Triplet Lake Drive, including alternate vehicular routes; pedestrian access; and notice to residents, Seminole County, Seminole County School Board and Seminole County School Board Transportation Services. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS /COMMENTS Commissioner Anthony Aramendia — Seat No. 1: ® Reported he had participated in the annual Central Florida Air Potato Raid on Saturday, January 24, 2015 and volunteers had collected 1,116 pounds of air potatoes which was lower than last year due to inclement weather. He added he was still waiting for the county -wide count, but expected that the City of Casselbely would have the most collected due to the number of volunteers who had turned out for the event.
