CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION
Minutes of February 9, 2015 — Regular Meeting
Page 10 of 14
2. Mr. Alan Hirschkorn, also of Orlando, stated he was a retired New York City fire inspector
and still stayed active participating in fire safety events. He also thanked the Fire Department
staff and Vice Mayor Solomon for their show of support for Reverend Donna White by
attendance at her swearing -in ceremony.
No one else came forward.
[Elmo
No report.
Ms. Reischmann advised there had been a South Florida Circuit Court decision regarding ex parte disclosures.
She stated that because it was a circuit court, the decision would not necessarily be binding here; however, she
cautioned that any ex parte communications a Commissioner felt was absolutely necessary should be kept to a
minimum and a brief but detailed accounting of the communication should be provided at the next official
meeting. She added that she will be providing a report on pending litigation in the near future.
Advised that at the request of the Commission she was now preparing and posting public notices regarding any
event at which two or more Commissioners would be in attendance. She requested that the Commissioners e-
mail her if they are aware of an upcoming event they will be attending, in order to give her sufficient time to
prepare the appropriate notice. She noted there were regularly attended meetings such as the Casselberry
Chamber of Commerce, PBAS (Private Business Associates of Seminole) and CALNO (Council of Local
Governments in Seminole County) for which she would automatically prepare a notice; however, she would
appreciate receiving notification of any meeting or events. Mayor Glancy advised she would be attending the
PBAS meeting on Wednesday, February 11, 2015.
Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1:
Advised he would be attending the Music & Arts in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar event on Friday,
February 13, 2015.
Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2
