CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of April 27, 2015 — Regular Meeting Page 5 of 19 Introduction: Resolution 15 -2718 finds that it is appropriate, proper, and timely and in the best interest of the citizens of Casselberry and Seminole County that the term of the Casselberry CRA (Community Redevelopment Agency) be extended an additional two years to December 11, 2017 and formally requests that the Board of County Commissioners of Seminole County, Florida, extend the term of the Casselberry CRA to December 11, 2017 for the purpose of providing funding to the Casselberry Community Redevelopment Agency via the additional revenues that would be available through the receipt of additional tax increment financing revenues. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City's budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of Resolution 15 -2718. D. Resolution 15 -2719 — FY 2015 Second Quarter Budget Amendments "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2014 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2015; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 15 -2719 revises and amends the annual operating of City of Casselberry as approved on September 22, 2014 through Resolution 14 -2654 for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2014. Budget Impact: The Second Quarter Budget Amendment spreadsheet details changes to the budget as a result of Budget Amendments adopted by the City Commission at various meetings during the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2015. These changes are presented in summary in the "Second Quarter Budget Amendments" spreadsheet attached to Resolution 15 -2719 and reflect changes in individual funds. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 15- 2719. NOTE: Due to a scrivener's error, the title of the attachment to Resolution 15 -2719, "Second Quarter Budget Amendments " spreadsheet was corrected to change the words "First Quarter" to "Second Quarter ". E. Resolution 15 -2720 — Best Workplaces for Commuters Application "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF A BEST WORKPLACES FOR COMMUTERS APPLICATION TO THE BEST WORKPLACES FOR COMMUTERS PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 15 -2720 approves the Best Workplaces for Commuters application for the City of Casselberry and authorizes its submittal by City staff to the Best Workplaces for Commuters program.
