CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of May 11, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 12 of 14 <br />During Mr. Fraleigh's comments, Mayor Glancy cautioned him about following the City's rules and <br />procedures for citizens' comments, and Mr. Fraleigh expressed his objections to her interruption, stating his <br />freedom of speech allowed him to express his opinions. Mayor Glancy advised Mr. Fraleigh that his time was <br />up and requested that he be seated. Mr. Fraleigh complied with Mayor Glancy's request. <br />Ms. Shannon Campbell 586 Queens Mirror Circle, spoke in support of the Commission, <br />stating that she loved living in the City of Casselberry and felt it was a very well-run City. <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, reminded everyone that it had only been a <br />short time since the flyovers had become operational and he felt the area would recover once <br />people realized that those intersections were no longer as congested as before and the <br />construction was no longer in progress. <br />No one else came forward. <br />l we I Wad ENO, <br />Shared the following reminders with the Commission: <br />o No second Commission meeting in May due to the Memorial Day holiday; the next regular <br />Commission meeting will be June 8, 2015. <br />o Spring Employee Picnic will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. —1:30 p.m. <br />in Lake Concord Park. <br />o The Hot Rods & Rock `n Roll event will be held in Lake Concord Park on Saturday, May 23, <br />2015 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. <br />Advised that the foreclosed "stone house" on Sunset Drive was due to be demolished as oftoday, May <br />11, 2015. <br />Reported that staff was working towards a recommendation for a golf course operator in the event the <br />City closes on the purchase of the golf course later in the summer, and he expected to bring a contract <br />to the Commission for consideration at the June 8, 2015 regular meeting. He noted that the contract <br />would only become effective in the event a closing did occur. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />
