CASSELBERRY CITY CONINUSSION Minutes of July 13, 2015 — Regular Meeting Page 12 of 13 No one else came forward. 14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT Advised that the swearing -in ceremony for the City's new Police Chief Larry Krantz would be held in the Commission Chambers on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. Advised that the Budget Workshop would be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Police Department multi - purpose room. Reported that plans were on course to close on the acquisition of the golf course on August 14, 2015, but prior to that he would be bringing results of the various investigations done on the property for Commission consideration at the July 27, 2015 regular meeting. He added that after Commission review of those results, he would be seeking guidance from the Commissioners about whether they desired to move forward with the closing. 15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT Briefly shared information on two code enforcement appeals that were upheld in favor of the City, and advised that an Order of Dismissal had been entered in a lawsuit which had been filed against the City by the owner of 317 Sunset Drive. Gave credit to the legal team at her firm for all of their assistance in these matters and all the issues she handles for the City. She also thanked the Commission for their vote to increase the rate for City Attorney legal fees. 16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT No report. 17.
