CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of July 13, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 13 of 13 <br />Commissioner Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />No report. <br />Vice Mayor Solomon - Seat No. 3: <br />• Reported that Seminole State College is moving forward with a site plan for the proposed Center for the <br />Arts. <br />• Inquired whether it would be possible to include information about the City's codes relating to various <br />violations in the monthly utility bills. <br />• Stated she had received compliments about the Art and Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar event <br />on Friday, July 10, 2015 and thanked all those who had a part in putting on the City's events. <br />• Expressed some concerns about ongoing garage sales occurring in her neighborhood. <br />Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />Congratulated Vice Mayor Solomon on the work she had done in promoting the proposed Seminole State <br />College Center for the Arts. <br />Also expressed concerns about what she considered to be the proliferation of sales in residential areas <br />throughout the City. A brief discussion ensued in which Community Development Director Sandra <br />Smith explained the code enforcement process, staffing issues, penalties for violations, and the steps that <br />are being taken to ensure compliance with the City's codes regarding garage sales, open air sales and <br />home -based businesses. <br />There being no further business, Mayor Glancy adjourned the meeting at 5:21 p.m. <br />DATE MINUTES APPROVED BY CITY COMMISSION: <br />ATTEST': <br />1 f <br />Donna G.
