The impact to the FY <br />2015/2016 Budget is estimated to approximately $24,000. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of the <br />reorganization of the Public Works Department. <br />Audience Participation: The following individual came forward to address the Consent Agenda: <br />1. Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, expressed some concerns regarding Item B, <br />extension of the contract with Moore Stephens Lovelace, P.A. <br />No one else came forward. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report <br />No report. <br />C. Leadership Seminole Board Report <br />Mayor Glancy reported she had attended a meeting on Friday, August 21, 2015 and was pleased to report that <br />the $100,000 grant from Seminole County for the homelessness task force had been approved and the group <br />would be meeting on the second Friday of each month to address the issue. She also gave a brief update on the <br />recent and upcoming classes, noting they had been receiving good ratings, and that she and Mr. Newlon would <br />both be participating in the September 11, 2015 government day class. She added that Dr. Walt Griffin had <br />been at the meeting and shared some statistics about Seminole County schools, including that the district was <br />ranked highest in the State of Florida for science and math; as of last week there were 66,429 students enrolled <br />and 7500+ employees; and there were only eight job opportunities district -wide which had not been filled <br />which was very, very low compared to other districts and reflected well on the district as being a desired place <br />of employment. <br />
