CASSELBERRY CrVY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 24, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 6 of 20 <br />401- 0190 - 581.91 -35 Transfer to Fund 305 $6,054 <br />Decrease: <br />401- 0751 - 536.46 -05 Repair & Maintenance /Emergency $6,054 <br />Repairs <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />15 -2776 and related Budget Amendment #15 -053. <br />H. Application for FY 15/16 Edward Byrne Memorial Assistance Countywide Grant <br />Introduction: this item provides for participation in a grant application through Seminole County for Edward <br />Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant funds in the amount of $112,682 for designated use by governmental <br />agencies within Seminole County, including $14,085 by the City of Casselberry for the enhancement and <br />continuance of the Casselbeny Police Department's Police Officer Camera Program. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval to participate in the grant <br />application for $112,682 to be filed and coordinated by Seminole County and the allocation of grant funds <br />toward the Casselberry Police Department's Police Officer Camera Program. <br />L Reorganization of the Finance Department — Meter Services Division <br />Introduction: Approval to reorganize the Finance /Meter Service Division by increasing the number of <br />authorized positions for Meter Service Worker by one additional position is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the current City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval to increase the <br />number of positions in the Meter Service Division from 2 to 3 positions. <br />J. Reorganization of the Public Works Department — Parks/Facilities Maintenance <br />Division Recreation Division and Golf Course Division <br />Introduction: Approval to reorganize the Parks/Facilities Maintenance Division by redefining the job <br />descriptions of the Public Works Maintenance Manager and Parks & Facilities Supervisor positions to provide <br />liaison and maintenance operations services oversight of the new Golf Course Division with the Public Works <br />Department is requested. Additionally, approval to reorganize the Recreation Division in order to re -title and <br />reclassify the j ob description of the Special Events & Marketing Coordinator position to Recreation Programs <br />& Events Supervisor is also requested. <br />
