CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 24, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 8 of 20 <br />D. Mayors /Managers Group Report <br />Mayor Glancy reported that the Mayors /Manager Group had met on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 and the <br />speakers had been Dr. Ann McGee and Dr. Joe Sarnovsky of Seminole State College who had shared some <br />statistics on the various programs, enrollment, student population makeup, and percentage of students moving <br />on to higher degrees. She shared information they had provided about upcoming improvements at the different <br />campuses, including conversion of an old gym into a wellness center and a new student services building at the <br />Sanford /lake Mary campus and some parking lot, road and sidewalk improvements at the Oviedo campus. She <br />added that all improvements except the student services building were being paid for by private dollars. <br />E. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report <br />No report. <br />F. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency Report <br />No report. <br />G. City Center Property Development Report <br />City Manager Randy Newlon reported that plans had been received for the mass grading, park amenities and <br />the Triplet Lake Drive road re- alignment and were scheduled to be considered by the Development Review <br />Committee (DRC) on September 3, 2015. He added that the vertical construction plans for the proposed <br />Integra Lakes apartment complex were also scheduled for review by the DRC on September 3`a. He noted that <br />due to the large size of the plans files, they had been prepared on CD for the Commissioners' review. He <br />added that Wharton -Smith would be presenting the guaranteed maximum price figures to staff September 2, <br />2015, after which he would be able to report to the Commission on where the project stands. <br />9. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />10. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A.
