CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 24, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 4 of 20 <br />Introduction: Resolution 15 -2773 approves the proposal to piggyback Florida Government Utility <br />Authority's Agreement #2014 -01 with Utility Technicians, Inc. for rehabilitation of the Brittany pump station <br />for an amount not to exceed $83,861.00, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the <br />City. <br />Budget Impact: Project funds of $83,861.00 were budgeted in FY 2015 and are available in the Public <br />Works Distribution and Collection Equipment/Other Account #401- 0751 - 536.67 -35. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />15 -2773. <br />E. Resolution 15 -2774 — Piggyback Purchase and Installation of a Wet Well Pump <br />Station for the Eastbrook II Pump Station Rehabilitation Project <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PROPOSAL AS A PIGGYBACK <br />AGREEMENT WITH UTILITY TECHNICIANS, INC. FOR REHABILITATION OF THE <br />EASTBROOK II PUMP STATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 15 -2774 approves the proposal to piggyback Florida Government Utility <br />Authority's Agreement #2014 -01 with Utility Technicians, Inc. for rehabilitation of the Eastbrook II pump <br />station for an amount not to exceed $79,172.09, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf <br />of the City. <br />Budget Impact: Project funds of $79,172.09 were budgeted in FY 2015 and are available in the Public <br />Works Distribution and Collection Equipment/Other Account #401 - 0751 - 536.67 -35. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />15 -2774. <br />F. Resolution 15 -2775 —Provision of Temporary Easement for Duke Energy Facilities <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING AND GRANTING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT TO DUKE ENERGY OVER <br />LOTS 1, 2 3 AND 4 OF THE CASSELBERRY MUNICIPAL CENTER AS RECORDED IN PLAT <br />BOOK 15, PAGE 28 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 15 -2775 approves the Temporary Easement for existing Duke Energy facilities <br />located with the City of Casselberry's municipal complex and the Lake Concord Park Project to Duke Energy. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City budget. <br />
