CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of November 9, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 17 of 19 <br />Discussion: A brief discussion ensued during which some members ofthe Commission acknowledged that the <br />two establishments mentioned earlier seemed to be very responsible and followed the rules and restrictions for <br />retail sales of pets; however, it was agreed that restrictions put in place would have to cover all retail businesses <br />and could not waive restrictions for individual businesses. <br />Motion carried by voice vote 4 -1, Commissioner Hufford dissenting. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individuals came forward: <br />1. Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, expressed some concerns regarding Charter <br />language referencing the fire chief; proposed changes to Commission meeting times; and the <br />question of prayer at the beginning of meetings. <br />2. Ms. Shannon Campbell, 586 Queens Mirror Circle, stated from a citizen's perspective she <br />would prefer a later meeting time which would allow working people to attend the meetings <br />without having to take time from work. Regarding the issue of prayer at meetings, she <br />suggested the Commission may wish to seek counsel from a non - profit organization called <br />Liberty Council which has dealt with the issue numerous times throughout Florida. <br />No one else came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16.
