CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of November 9, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 18 of 19 <br />next regularly scheduled City Commission would be on Monday, December 14, 2015. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS /COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />• Congratulated Commissioners Hufford and Meadows on the success of the Casselberly Chamber of <br />Commerce's Food and Wine Festival event on November 2, 2015. He thanked them for their <br />commitment to making the event spectacular, and added that a lot of positive comments had been <br />received about Secret Lake Park which was a new venue for the event. <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner advised for the record that since the amended meeting policy regarding the meeting <br />starting time was being presented for consideration at the December 14, 2015 Commission meeting, that <br />meeting would begin at 4:00 p.m., as the new policy would not yet have been approved. <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2 <br />• Thanked Commissioner Aramendia for his cominents about the Food and Wine Festival, and added <br />that he had also heard positive comments from citizens, including some who had not previously <br />attended an event at Secret Lake Park. <br />• Reported he had attended the Chair the Love walls and roll event at Secret Lake Park on Sunday, <br />November 8, 2015 which benefits the Wheelchair Foundation. He expressed thanks to City staff who <br />had worked to make the event successful. <br />Commissioner Colleen Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />• Thanked Commissioner Meadows for his hard work on the Casselberly Chamber of Commerce Food <br />and Wine Festival, reporting that the number of food vendors had increased to 26 from last year's 18. <br />She added that Secret Lake Park had been a nice venue for the event and it had been a great success. <br />Vice Mayor Sandra Solomon - Seat No. 3: <br />• Stated she had also attended the Food and Wine Festival and it was a wonderful event, with perfect <br />weather, good food and good people. She agreed that Secret Lake Park had been a great venue and <br />thanked those who had worked on the event. <br />• Advised she had received positive comments about City staff from Allegro Development Co. relating <br />to the planning process for the senior living facility. She thanked staff for their good work on the <br />project. <br />• Invited everyone to participate in the Holiday Bicycle Ride to support New Hope for Kids, an <br />organization which provides assistance to children and families suffering from grief, loss or life - <br />threatening illnesses. She advised that the event would be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from <br />
