If a timely <br />application is received, it shall be processed and the terminated person <br />shall be eligible to receive a disability benefit if the board otherwise <br />determines that he is totally and permanently disabled as provided for <br />above. <br />2i if a member has resigned from employment or separated from <br />employment in connection with the resolution of a worker's compensation <br />claim with the city and has, prior to such resignation or separation, applied <br />for a disability pension, then such person's application shall continue to be <br />processed and he shall be eligible to receive a disability benefit if the <br />board otherwise determines that he is totally and permanently disabled as <br />provided for above. <br />(c) Disability benefits not-in -line of duo).
