27. Essential Services. The erection, construction, <br />alteration or maintenance, by public utilities or municipal <br />or other governmental agencies, of underground or overhead <br />gas, electrical, steam or water transmission or distribu- <br />tion systems, collection, communication, supply or disposal <br />systems, including poles, wires, mains, drains, sewers, pipes, <br />conduits, cables, fire alarm boxes, traffic signals, hydrants, <br />28. Family. One or more persons occupying a dwell- <br />ing and living as a single housekeeping unit, as distinguished <br />from persons occupying a boarding house, lodging house or <br />hotel, as herein defined. <br />29. Fence. An open enclosure made up of stone, <br />masonry, wood, chain link or wire. <br />30. Filling Station. See Service Station. <br />31. Frontage, Street, Residential. The front of <br />the dwelling shall be on the lot front. <br />32. Frontage, Street, Business. All the property <br />on the width of the lot abutting the street with heaviest <br />traffic usage. <br />33. Frontage, Lot. The distance for which the <br />front boundary line of the lot and the street line are <br />coincident. <br />34. Garage Apartment. An accessory or subordinate <br />building, not a part of or attached to the main building. <br />
