Budget Impact: Change Order No. 7 is for an amount not to exceed $154,018.32. Funds will be available through the approval of Budget Amendment #14 -008 to decrease Water and Sewer Other Non - Operating Account #401- 0000 - 389.90 -00 and increase the Distribution and Collection Water Quality Improvements Project Account #401 - 0751 - 536.63 -13 by said amount. BA #14 -008 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide additional funding for costs associated with work, related to the Water Quality Improvements Project. Killebrew, Inc. has submitted Change Order No. 7, in the amount not to exceed $154,018.32, which provides for the reconciliation of project overruns and under runs and provides for additional pipe bursting work on Kentia Road. Approval of this budget amendment will provide sufficient funding for the City to perform this work. FOR TECHNICAL SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN AND PRE - CONSTRUCTION SERVICES RELATED TO THE EMERGENCY GENERATORS AT THE NORTH AND HOWELL PARK WATER TREATMENT PLANTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 13 -2557 approves Amendment #3 to the Agreement for General Construction Management at Risk for Projects Less than $2 Million with Wharton- Smith, Inc, to provide design and pre - construction services related to emergency generator upgrades associated with the North and Howell Park Water Treatment Plants for an amount not to exceed $17,375, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City.
