She advised that the memorandum had been <br />modified to include one of the steps which had inadvertently been left out of the original. She further advised <br />that the step which was added related to the consideration of an impact fee deferral ordinance and agreement, <br />and that the ordinance had already gone to the Planning and Zoning Commission and would be coming before <br />the Commission for consideration in the near future. She added that the memorandum remained the same <br />except for the addition of this omitted step. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />Mayor Glancy returned to the Connnission Chambers at 5:43 p.m. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS /COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia — Seat No. 1: <br />Reported he had attended the recent Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar event, and <br />thanked Dr. Kelly Brock for his presentation about Founder's Day. He noted that the event was very <br />well attended. Called attention to the items which had been placed around the Commission Chambers <br />showing some of the City's history in honor of Founder's Day. <br />Advised that volunteers from the Embassy Suites corporate offices had worked on a clean -up and <br />enhancement project at Secret Lake Park last Tuesday. <br />Commissioner Gene Fry — Seat No. 2: <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Colleen Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />Thanked Police Chief Bill McNeil and his staff for their actions to correct a situation involving <br />children walking in the street on Park Avenue and on Winter Park Drive. She added that Dean Rafael <br />Fernandez from South Seminole Middle School had also worked with the students to help them realize <br />the danger involved in walking in the streets, and she appreciated the cooperative effort to try and <br />alleviate the problem. <br />Reported she attended a Sunset Oaks Homeowners' Association meeting last week to promote the <br />Casselberry Chamber of Commerce Food and Wine Festival, but also spoke briefly about the City <br />Center project. She added that although there were some concerns, she got the impression that the <br />residents were generally in favor of it after hearing facts about it. <br />Invited everyone to attend the Casselberry Chamber of Commerce Food and Wine Festival on <br />Monday, November 4, 2013 from 6:00 -9:00 p.m. in Lake Concord Park. <br />
