FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. At 4:10 p.m. Mayor Glancy announced that it would be necessary to recess the Commission meeting and reconvene after 5:00 p.m., as the meeting had reached the Public Hearings section of the Agenda and the public hearings had been noticed to begin after 5:00 p.m., as required by State law. Commissioner Hufford inquired whether it would be appropriate to amend the Agenda to change the order of items to proceed with reports followed by the public hearings. The Commission agreed as a whole this would work well to keep the meeting flowing and place the public hearings after 5:00 p.m., as noticed. MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to amend the Agenda to place Items 14 -17, City Manager's Report, City Attorney's Report, City Clerk's Report and City Commissioners' Reports /Comments before Item 11, Public Hearings, for consideration, to then be followed by the remaining agenda items in order. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Fry. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4 -0. 14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT Reminded everyone of the Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar event scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Lake Concord Park, and the Rock N Run 5K event scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2013 starting at 7:30 a.m. at Lake Concord Park. Reported that the partner cities for the F1exBus program were close to settling on the terms of an interlocal agreement and he expects to bring that agreement to the Commission for consideration in October. Advised there had been a Triplet Lake Drive Signature Sheet Project public outreach meeting on Thursday, September 5, 2013 which was well attended and well received. He added that staff would be making a presentation on the project to the Commission at the first meeting in October, as well. 15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT • Reported that a hearing on the Motion for Summary Judgment in the Casselberry Golf Company lawsuit was scheduled for October 23, 2013.
