Ms. Smith said at a later time the CRA will need to formally adopt a resolution approving the extension request <br />and Redevelopment Plan. <br />Mr. McGregor asked for a motion. Mr. Trueba made a motion that the CRA approve the consultant's study regarding <br />the extension justification. Mr. Alfred seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Sixth Item of Business: Other Business <br />Mr. Mark Gisclar, Public Works Director, stated that FDOT, Metric Engineering, DRMP and Lane Construction are <br />holding an open house on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Metro Life Church from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. regarding the State <br />Road 436/US Highway 17/92 Flyover project. He said a FDOT preconstruction meeting was held on November 7, 2013 in the <br />City of Casselberry Commission Chambers. Mr. Gisclar stated mobilization will start in January 2014 and the duration of the <br />project is estimated at 754 days. He said the project should be completed in 2016. <br />Mr. Gisclar said the goal to open the Red Bug Lake Road Flyover Project is for the end of November 2013. He said <br />the Red Bug Lake Road flyover project will be completed before the State Road 436 1US Highway 17/92 Flyover Project <br />begins. <br />Ms. Smith stated that the City Commission has scheduled a workshop on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. to <br />discuss the City Commission's issues and concerns with the developers for the Concord Village Development Project. She <br />said this will give the developers an opportunity to respond to the Commission's concerns. She said by the end of the <br />workshop there should be an indication on how the project will be proceeding. <br />Ms. Smith explained that there is a study being conducted on the Seminole County portion of Oxford Road. She said <br />it is a joint venture with Seminole County CRA, Seminole County Government, Metro Plan Orlando, and the City of <br />Casselberry. She said the study will determine what will occur on Oxford Road from State Road 436 to Lowes and adding a <br />connection to US Highway 17/92. The consultants will be making a presentation to the City Commission at the December 9, <br />2013 City Commission meeting at 4:00 p.m. Ms. Smith said they have had a focus group of the community to provide their <br />input to them and they are bringing forward their recommendation to the City Commission. She said it will be presented to <br />Seminole County Commission in January. <br />
