Mayors /Managers Group Report — Mayor Glancy <br />Reported that the last meeting was held in the City of Oviedo and a legislative update was given by <br />Representative Jason Brodeur. <br />E. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Repoli — <br />Commissioner Solomon <br />Reported the meeting was held last Wednesday in Sanford at the Princess Theater. She explained that this was <br />a 5000 square foot historic theater building on First Street which had been in disrepair for many years but had <br />been renovated and was now being used successfully as an active community theater. <br />Commissioner Solomon commented that she had attended a performance there and it was a very interesting <br />project and would like to see something similar in Casselberay. <br />F. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency port — Vice Mayor Solomon <br />Reported the discussion at the last meeting had been regarding new programs and regulations for <br />businesses on 17 -92 to obtain grants. She explained that the new regulations would make the <br />process easier and would shorten the processing time for businesses to apply for and receive the <br />grants to open or improve businesses along 17 -92. <br />Mayor Glancy advised that staff was requesting that Item D on the Consent Agenda be removed to be brought <br />back for consideration at a future meeting. Mr. Newlon explained that the City Attorney had requested that it <br />be removed in order to make additional revisions to the agreement which would better favor the City. <br />Interim Community Development Director Sandra Smith advised of a revision to Consent Item C. She <br />explained that in the Resolution relating to the Legacy Park Phase III final replat there were three conditions <br />for the approval. She stated that there had been a revision to the third condition to include the language "for <br />structures other than the model home" at the end of the condition. <br />A. Special Invoice Repoli <br />Introduction: The Special Invoice Report policy was adopted by the Commission to streamline the financial <br />process for approval of certain invoices, awards of bids, initial contracts and change orders on a project in <br />excess of 5% of the total project. The following item has been reviewed by the affected departments and is <br />being presented for approval: <br />
