CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of Jame 10, 2013 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 3 of 16 <br />efforts to manage the City's work- week intelligently and creatively and for the long term benefit to <br />Central Florida's air. <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />Commissioner Fly requested that the following issues be considered for future agenda items: <br />The possibility of moving the City's Veteran's Park to a more prominent location in order to <br />make it more accessible and to give more recognition to the City's veterans; <br />• Updates to the City's Code of Ordinances to alleviate conflicting regulations such those <br />recently discovered relating to construction noise; <br />• Issues surrounding the Winter Park Drive improvement project; <br />® Concerns regarding pedestrian safety and the possible need for an additional crosswalk at the <br />intersection of Seminola Boulevard and Winter Park Drive; <br />• The Sidewalk Proposal submitted by the Carriage Hill Community Association; <br />® Determination of policies regarding possible annexation of properties in the areas of the <br />SunRail station and Fern Park. <br />Discussion: Discussion ensued regarding the issues raised by Commission Fry. Mr. Newlon advised that <br />some of the issues would require only a staff report and others would require Commission consensus to move <br />forward. <br />CONSENSUS: The Commission agreed by consensus to direct staff to research possible sites for re- <br />location of the City's Veteran's Park and to bring back suggestions for Commission <br />consideration at a future meeting. <br />CONSENSUS: The Commission agreed by consensus to direct staff to research the City's Code of <br />Ordinances with guidance by the City Attorney, and to bring back information <br />regarding possible changes to the Code to alleviate conflicting regulations and <br />outdated references within the Code, including those relating to regulation of <br />businesses and construction noise, among others. <br />B.
