He said that the proposed building would be <br />22,153 square feet. <br />Mr. Suvanase stated that the church's parcel shown on Exhibit A of the staff report is incorrect. He said the <br />correct parcel is actually 1 parcel to the north of what is depicted on the exhibit. <br />A discussion ensued regarding the conditional use commencing within one year from the approval. Mr. <br />Suvanase said it would be very difficult for the church to complete its fundraising and construct the building within a <br />one year time frame. It was decided that condition number 9 would be amended to read: "That the applicant would <br />submit a major site plan within one year from the conditional use approval ". <br />Mr. Meadows asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br />to, the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Meadows requested final comments from the applicant and Staff. There were no final comments made. <br />Mr. Meadows asked for a motion to address CU 12 -09, Mr. Wadley made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approve CU 12 -09 to allow development of a fellowship hall and associated facilities at 1815 <br />State Road 436, including the 11 conditions of approval and changing condition 9 to read: "The applicant will submit <br />a major site plan within one year of the conditional use approval ". He added that this recommendation is based on <br />the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated August 8, 2012. Ms. Hoyte -Rene seconded the motion. <br />The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Eighth Item of Business: SPR 12.15: Security Financial. Tree replacement reduction request for 2003 Lake <br />Howell Lane, Maitland, Florida. <br />Mr. Jason Sorensen, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated August 8, <br />2012, to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on file in the Community Development <br />Department). Mr. Sorensen provided a PowerPoint presentation (a copy is attached and made a part of the <br />minutes). Mr. Sorensen stated Staff does not find that a full reduction is warranted. He said there is room for at least <br />2 additional trees; therefore, staff recommends denial of the applicants request for a full reduction to the replacement <br />requirements, <br />
