Mr. Suleiman said their standard for parking is one parking space for every <br />100 square foot of building. He said Navy Federal Credit Union is not your typical bank where there is a branch <br />office located every two miles. He said normally one office is located within a ten to twenty mile demographic <br />because the credit union serves exclusively the Department of Defense. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br />to, the request. No one came forward. <br />After a brief discussion, Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to address SPR 11 -18, Mr. Bakalla made a <br />motion to approve SPR 11 -18 based on the staff memo dated January 11, 2012 as presented. Tree replacement reduction request for the <br />property located at 2671 S. Highway 1792, Casselberry, Florida <br />Mr. Jason Sorensen, Planning Technician, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated <br />January 11, 2012 to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on file in the Community <br />Development Department). Mr. Sorensen provided a PowerPoint presentation (a copy is attached and made a part <br />of the minutes). Mr. Sorensen said Staff supports a reduction to 5" dbh or a tree bank contribution of $440. Mr. <br />Sorensen reviewed the following suggested conditions of approval if the Planning and Zoning Commission approved <br />the tree reduction request: <br />1. The applicant must submit to staff a replacement plan for 5" dbh. <br />2. In lieu of planting all 5" dbh on the property, the applicant may make a tree bank contribution for the <br />remaining inches, or for all inches. <br />3. The above conditions shall be fully and faithfully executed within three months of the making of this <br />determination or the landscape restoration plan shall become null and void and code enforcement <br />action will commence. <br />
