Selecting volunteers for the interview process was discussed and Mr. Daigle decided to postpone this item until staff is able to provide the time commitment necessary to complete the task. A general discussion ensued regarding creating a new master plan and extending the boundaries of the Community Redevelopment District. Mr. Daigle requested Mr. Dudgeon prepare documentation showing the original design of the flyover project and the design that was achieved with the monies invested by the CRA. In response to Mr. McGregor's question regarding discussions Mr. Jones had with Seminole County regarding their thoughts on the redesign of the State Road 436 /US Highway 17 -92 Flyover Project, Mr. Jones said he met with Commissioner Dallari and a Seminole County Planner within the last month, Mr. Jones suggested requesting the Seminole County Planner to provide a presentation at the next CRA meeting relative to the plans for the State Road 436 /US Highway 17 -92 intersection improvements. He felt that would give the Board an opportunity to dialogue with her. He said that was one of the reasons he met with Commissioner Dallari. Mr. Jones said he would provide the Seminole County Planner's name to Ms. Smith. It was decided that Ms. Smith would contact the Seminole County Planner to see if she would be available to make a presentation to the Board at the January CRA. In response to the Board's question regarding the work being performed by ACI, Ms. Smith said ACI is assisting the City reviewing proposals for the development of the City Center property. Fifth Item of Business: Other Business: a. US 17.92/SR 436 Flyover Project update b. 4200 Investments LLC incentive update US 17 -921SR 436 Flyover Project update Ms. Sandra Smith, Interim Community Development Director, explained that the City costs for the improvements that the City requested to the State Road 436 /US Highway 17 -92 Flyover Project were over $1.5 million, She said that Mr. Mark Gisclar, Public Works Director, had discussions with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to reduce those costs to $243,000. She said $115,000 is needed for decorative mast arm signalization upgrades at both State Road 436 at the entrance to Casselberry Exchange and State Road 436 and Oxford Road. She said there is an additional $80,000 needed for the four flyover bridge wall structures that will have the city's name on it and there is additional $48,000 needed for irrigation for landscaping. Ms. Smith explained said that the City Manager indicated he wanted these funds paid from the general fund rather than through the CRA.
