Special Invoice Report <br />Introduction: The Special Invoice Report policy was adopted by the Commission to streamline the financial <br />process for approval of certain invoices, awards of bids, initial contracts and change orders on a project in <br />excess of 5% of the total project. The following items have been reviewed by the affected departlnents and are <br />being presented for approval: <br />Brown, Garganese, Weiss & D'Agresta, P.A. <br />® City Attorney Services for February 2012 <br />Invoice No. 50500 $19,060.50 <br />Fisher & Phillips LLP <br />® City Labor Attorney Services for January 2012 <br />Invoice No. 22751- 709724 $ 242.00 <br />Budget Impact: Funds for the City Attorney invoice are available in FY 2012 Budget Account No. 001- <br />0140 -514- 31.01. Funds for the City Labor Attorney invoice are available in FY 2012 Budget Account No. <br />001 - 0140- 514 - 31.02. <br />Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and staff recommended approval of the Special Invoice Report. <br />B. Resolution 12 -2347 — 2012 TIGER Grant Application <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, 'FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE 2012 <br />TRANSPORTATION INVESTMENT GENERATING ECONOMIC RECOVERY (TIGER) <br />DISCRETIONARY GRANT APPLICATION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />THE CITY OF ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, SEMINOLE COUNTY AND LYNX CENTRAL FLORIDA <br />REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 12 -2347 provides for submittal of a final grant application for a United States <br />Department of Transportation (US DOT) FY 2012 Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery <br />(TIGER) Discretionary Grant on behalf of the Cities of Casselberry and Altamonte Springs, Seminole County <br />and LYNX for the purpose of obtaining federal funds in the amount of $27,313,069 to enhance the core <br />transportation system of the region. The grant request for the City of Casselberry is $8,694,524 with a <br />proposed City match of $8,897,695. <br />Budget Impact: For the City of Casselberry, the proposed City share is $8,897,695. These funds are either <br />already appropriated in the FY 2012 Budget or are readily available; future Budget Amendments would be <br />necessary to formalize allocation of the funds to specific project components. No additional General Fund <br />money other than what has already been appropriated by the City Commission is proposed for the match. The <br />
