Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5 — 0. <br />C. Resolution 12 -2351 — Amendment #1 to the Agreement for General Construction <br />Manager at Risk for Projects Less than $2 Million with Wharton - Smith, Inc. and <br />Related Budget Amendment #12 -031 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND <br />AUTHOIRZING AMENDMENT #1 TO THE GENERAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK <br />FOR PROJECTS LESS THAN $2 MILLION AGREEMENT WITH WHARTON- SMITH, INC. FOR <br />THE GUARANTEED MAXIMUM PRICE OF CONSTRUCTION COSTS FOR THE <br />RENOVATIONS OF THE OFFICES, LABORATORY AND WORK SPACES OF THE NORTH AND <br />SOUTH WATER PRODUCTION FACILITIES AND THE WATER/WASTEWATER <br />RECLAMATION FACILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Luis Cruz, Parlcs & Facilities Manager, gave a brief presentation to the City <br />Commission. He stated Resolution 12 -2351 provides for consideration ofAmendment 41 to the Agreement for <br />General Construction Manager at Risk for Projects less than $2 Million with Wharton- Smith, Inc. at a <br />guaranteed maximum price (GMP) in the amount of $770,910 for renovations of the offices, laboratories and <br />work spaces at the North and South Water Production facilities and the Water /Wastewater Reclamation <br />facility. Consideration of related Budget Amendment #12 -031 was also requested. <br />Budget Impact: Funding exists in the Water Production Building Improvements accounts to fund the project. <br />The total cost of the project is $770,910 of which $463,000 is appropriated in the Water Reclamation and <br />
