Resolution 12 -2420 — Casselberry Golf Course <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 12 -2420 by title as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING THE CITY <br />COMMISSION'S INTENT TO SEEK TO PRESERVE THE CASSELBERRY GOLF COURSE <br />PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon stated the City Commission directed staff at the October 2nd <br />Workshop to draft a resolution expressing the Commission's desire to reiterate to the community its support of <br />seeking to preserve the golf course. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the City Attorney recommended approval of Resolution 12 -2420. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Miller moved to approve Resolution 12 -2420, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. <br />Discussion: Commissioner Miller commended Ms. Reischmann on the content of the resolution, stating he felt <br />it communicated very well the Commission's message to the community that the citizens had been heard and <br />the City would work to preserve the golf course property as a golf course and green space. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 — 0. <br />A. Amendment to ULDR Section 3 -10.9 — Parking of vehicles in residential districts — <br />Recreational equipment and overnight parking (LPA 12 -09) <br />Staff Presentation: Ms. Sandra Smith, Acting Community Development Director, explained that this item <br />was being brought to the City Commission at the request of the Planning and Zoning Commission in order to <br />request clarification of the City Commission's intent regarding the type of recreational equipment that may be <br />parked in a residential driveway overnight, and to address the issue of the frequency with which overnight <br />parking can occur, as that is not addressed in the current Code. Ms. Smith gave a brief overview of the City's <br />regulation of parking of recreational vehicles in residential areas within the City, and how the Code has <br />
