Resolution 12 -2421 — Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement with <br />Atkins North America, Inc. for Engineering Design Services Pertaining to the U.S. <br />Highway 17 -92 /State Road 436 Flyover Project <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ATKINS NORTH AMERICA, INC. FOR CONSULTING <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH UTILITY RELOCATIONS FOR THE US <br />HIGHWAY 17/92 AND STATE ROAD 436 FLYOVER PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 12 -2421 authorizes the execution of Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services <br />Agreement submitted by Atkins North America, Inc. (Atkins) in the amount of $27,791.75 to provide <br />engineering design and survey services to update the City's water and wastewater utility system as it relates to <br />the U.S. Highway 17 -92 /SR 436 Flyover Project. <br />Budget Impact: Funds have been budgeted in the FY2012 -13 Budget and are available in the Distribution <br />and Collection Infrastructure Account #402 - 0751 - 536.63 -40. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />12 -2421. <br />F. Resolution 12 -2422 — Agreement with Cardno TBE for Brownfield Cleanup Project <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH CARDNO TBE FOR <br />BROWNFIELD CLEANUP PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITYA ND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 12 -2422 authorizes execution of an agreement with Cardno TBE in the amount of <br />$200,000 to assess and manage the site rehabilitation for the Brownfield Cleanup Project at the City's Police <br />Department. <br />Budget Impact: Funds for the expense of the cleanup in the amount of $200,000 will be provided from grant <br />proceeds specifically awarded to the City for site cleanup from the Florida Department of Environmental <br />Protection and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Acting Community Development Director recommended <br />approval of Resolution 12 -2422. <br />
