CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of October 8, 2012 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 4 of 14 <br />001 - 0000 - 331.50 -02 BF Grant /Cleanup Revenue $200,000 <br />001 - 0000 - 389.90 -00 Non - operating Sources $ 40,000 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended acceptance of the U.S. Environmental Protection <br />Agency Award for a Brownfields Cleanup Grant by executing the Cooperative Agreement and approval of <br />related Budget Amendment #13 -002. <br />C. Acceptance of Florida Department of Environmental Protection Award — Petroleum <br />Cleanup Participation Program <br />Introduction: Consideration to accept the award from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection — <br />Petroleum Cleanup Participation Program in the amount of up to $400,000 which allows for State funding to <br />assist with the petroleum cleanup activities for the Police Station site is requested. <br />Budget Impact: The Florida Department of Environmental Protection funding has a cost share by the City of <br />25 %. The City's contribution will depend upon the amount of funds needed once cleanup work is underway. <br />With these cleanup activities being dual funded, it is anticipated that the City's monetary contributions can be <br />applied by the utilization of monies funded from the dual organization. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended acceptance ofthe award from the Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection by executing the Agreement for Petroleum Cleanup Participation Program. <br />D. Resolution 12 -2417 — Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to the Standard Consultant <br />Agreement for Stormwater Services with CDM Smith, Inc. for Design and Post <br />Design Services for the FY2012 -2013 Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project and <br />Related Budget Amendment #13 -001 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. <br />2 WITH CDM SMITH, INC. FOR DESIGN AND POST DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY 2012 -2013 STORM DRAIN REHABILITATION PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 12 -2417 authorizes the execution of Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to the Standard <br />Consultant Agreement for Continuing Professional Stormwater, Lakes Management, and Water Quality <br />Engineering Services with CDM Smith, Inc. (CDM Smith) for design, permitting, and post design services for <br />rehabilitation of various storm pipes and other components in the City's stormwater conveyance system in an <br />amount not to exceed $119,956. Consideration of related Budget Amendment #13 -001 is also requested. <br />Budget Impact: Sufficient funding is currently available in Stormwater Utility Account 110- 0740 - 539.63 -40 <br />to cover the cost of $119,956 for this scope of work. However, because certain components under this scope <br />were not explicitly budgeted in FY2011 -2012 and 2012 -2013 budgets, a Budget Amendment is necessary to <br />allocate funds and provide a line item for these additional components.
