CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of October 8, 2012 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 12 of 14 <br />reflected that city attorney performance should be evaluated annually and she felt October <br />would be an appropriate month for the evaluation. She stated that the one -on -one meetings <br />with the Commissioners had worked well and she would make herself available to meet with <br />those Commissioners wishing to do so within the next month. <br />Stated that the City typically has a large jazz event the last weekend in February, but would <br />get with Linda Moore to confirm the date. <br />Reported that the public records request made by the Commission for emails relating to the <br />golf course over the past six years would be completed tomorrow. She advised she would call <br />the Commissioners to let them know how to access the records. <br />Mayor Glancy welcomed and recognized members of Boy Scout Troop 341 who had just arrived to the <br />meeting and were attending as a part of their work toward the Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge. <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia — Seat No. 1: <br />Advised that Home Depot hosted a safety awareness event last Saturday, with food trucks and <br />a workshop for kids. He thanked the Police and Fire Departments for participating in the <br />event and for being involved in the community. <br />Noted he attended the Seminole County Garden Expo and got some leads for businesses he <br />will be asking to participate in the next Casselberry Earth Fest. <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon — Seat No. 3: <br />Reported that she had attended the tour of Lake Lotus Park and the Science Incubator with the <br />City of Altamonte, and it was a very interesting event. <br />Commissioner Jon Miller — Seat No. 2: <br />Echoed Commissioner Solomon's comments about the Science Incubator in Altamonte <br />Springs. He stated he felt it was going to be a great learning tool with lots of hands on <br />experiments for kids to do in a learning environment. <br />Reported again that he had met with Lee Constantine, who seemed very excited about the <br />possibilities of what can happen in Casselberry and the south part of the County. <br />
