Special Invoice Report <br />Introduction: The Special Invoice Report policy was adopted by the Commission to streamline the financial <br />process for approval of certain invoices, awards of bids, initial contracts and change orders on a project in <br />excess of 5% of the total project. The following item has been reviewed by the affected departments and is <br />being presented for approval: <br />Brown, Garganese, Weiss & D'Agresta, P.A. <br />• City Attorney Services for June 2012 <br />Invoice #52271 $14,058.88 <br />Budget Impact: Funds for the City Attorney invoice are available in FY 2012 Budget Account No. 001 -0140- <br />514- 31.01. <br />Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and staff recommended approval of the Special Invoice Report, <br />as submitted. <br />B. Resolution 12 -2401— FY 2012 Third Quarter Budget Amendments <br />Introduction: Resolution 12 -2401 provides for consideration to formally adopt budget amendments approved <br />during the third quarter of FY 2012. <br />Budget Impact: The Third Quarter Budget Amendment spreadsheet details changes to the budget as a result <br />of Budget Amendments adopted by the City Commission at various meetings during the third quarter of Fiscal <br />Year 2012. A copy of the Third Quarter Budget Amendments spreadsheet is attached to and made a part of <br />these minutes. <br />Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and the Interim Finance Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 12 -240. <br />C. Tentative Tax Rate for Fiscal Year 2012/2013 <br />Introduction: Consideration to set the tentative millage rate for Fiscal Year 2012/2013 (FY2013) at 5.4500 <br />mills is requested. <br />Budget Impact: The millage rate of 5.4500 will produce a tax levy of $5,697,430 in property taxes but will <br />yield only $5,412,558 (95 %) that will be collected by the City after early payer discounts and billing and <br />collection costs. <br />Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and the Interim Finance Director recommended approval to set <br />the tentative tax millage rate for FY 2013 as required by the "TRIM" legislation at 5.4500 mills. <br />
