Special Invoice Report Introduction: The Special Invoice Report policy was adopted by the Commission to streamline the financial process for approval of certain invoices, awards of bids, initial contracts and change orders on a project in excess of 5% of the total project. The following item has been reviewed by the affected departments and is being presented for approval: Brown, Garganese, Weiss & D'Agresta, P.A. • City Attorney Services for June 2012 Invoice #52271 $14,058.88 Budget Impact: Funds for the City Attorney invoice are available in FY 2012 Budget Account No. 001 -0140- 514- 31.01. Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and staff recommended approval of the Special Invoice Report, as submitted. B. Resolution 12 -2401— FY 2012 Third Quarter Budget Amendments Introduction: Resolution 12 -2401 provides for consideration to formally adopt budget amendments approved during the third quarter of FY 2012. Budget Impact: The Third Quarter Budget Amendment spreadsheet details changes to the budget as a result of Budget Amendments adopted by the City Commission at various meetings during the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2012. A copy of the Third Quarter Budget Amendments spreadsheet is attached to and made a part of these minutes. Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and the Interim Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 12 -240. C. Tentative Tax Rate for Fiscal Year 2012/2013 Introduction: Consideration to set the tentative millage rate for Fiscal Year 2012/2013 (FY2013) at 5.4500 mills is requested. Budget Impact: The millage rate of 5.4500 will produce a tax levy of $5,697,430 in property taxes but will yield only $5,412,558 (95 %) that will be collected by the City after early payer discounts and billing and collection costs. Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and the Interim Finance Director recommended approval to set the tentative tax millage rate for FY 2013 as required by the "TRIM" legislation at 5.4500 mills.
