a <br />An action plan was developed and implemented to address system and operational <br />improvements in code compliance operations, including new computer software, <br />increased supervision of code compliance officers, regular training sessions, <br />strengthening code provisions, new fine /lien collection strategies, and aggressive <br />abatement of problem areas. <br />Plan development and permitting research for the Triplet Lake Drive signature street <br />project continued. <br />Drainage, resurfacing and road improvements on Winter Park Drive from Seventh St. to <br />Red Bug Lake Road were completed. <br />Trees were planted and additional tree locations for "Area 1" were finalized. Work to <br />issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for tree installation and maintenance services <br />continued. This will establish a unit cost for services that can then be applied to trees for <br />"Area 1" as well as future project areas. <br />Multiple strategies for funding all or a portion of the components of the preliminary master <br />plan continued to be developed. <br />A sidewalk crew was hired and a city -wide repair and replacement of identified sidewalk <br />deficiencies began. <br />Work to track the LYNX corridor study that is currently underway and its potential impacts <br />on transit systems within the City limits continued. <br />
