CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 28, 2013 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 14 of 18 <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to appoint Ana Mancheno and Jeanne Aparicio to <br />the Parks and Recreation Board, terms effective to January 2015. Motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Miller. <br />(MOTION WAS RESCINDED —see below.) <br />Discussion: Discussion ensued regarding how to proceed with the two motions which were on the table. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to rescind her earlier motion. Motion was <br />seconded by Vice Mayor Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote <br />5-0. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to rescind her earlier motion. Motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Miller. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote <br />5-0. <br />Discussion: Additional discussion ensued regarding deferment of some board appointments, until it was <br />determined if Mr. Lutz could serve on the Code Enforcement Board. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Miller moved to appoint Ana Mancheno to the Parks and <br />Recreation Advisory Board, term effective to January 2015. Motion was <br />seconded by Vice Mayor Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote <br />5-0. <br />Economic Development AdvisorBoard <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to appoint Paul Daigle and Bill Hufford to the <br />Economic Development Advisory Board, terms effective to September 30, 2014, <br />which is the sunset date for the Board. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />Commissioner Hufford suggested thatterm lnnits for the ConununityRedevelopment Agency should be atopic <br />for discussion on a future agenda. The City Cleric advised that she and the City Manager had been discussing <br />the issue and impact of term limits for all the City's advisory boards and stated there were many factors to <br />consider, including that there were now fewer boards on which citizens could serve. <br />
