CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of January 28, 2013 — Regular Meeting Page 14 of 18 MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to appoint Ana Mancheno and Jeanne Aparicio to the Parks and Recreation Board, terms effective to January 2015. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Miller. (MOTION WAS RESCINDED —see below.) Discussion: Discussion ensued regarding how to proceed with the two motions which were on the table. MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to rescind her earlier motion. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to rescind her earlier motion. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Miller. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. Discussion: Additional discussion ensued regarding deferment of some board appointments, until it was determined if Mr. Lutz could serve on the Code Enforcement Board. MOTION: Commissioner Miller moved to appoint Ana Mancheno to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, term effective to January 2015. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. Economic Development AdvisorBoard MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to appoint Paul Daigle and Bill Hufford to the Economic Development Advisory Board, terms effective to September 30, 2014, which is the sunset date for the Board. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. A. Future Agenda Items Commissioner Hufford suggested thatterm lnnits for the ConununityRedevelopment Agency should be atopic for discussion on a future agenda. The City Cleric advised that she and the City Manager had been discussing the issue and impact of term limits for all the City's advisory boards and stated there were many factors to consider, including that there were now fewer boards on which citizens could serve.
