CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 28, 2013 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 13 of 18 <br />Community Redevelopment Agency <br />Ms. Gardner advised there were two reappointments, one new City appointment and one new County <br />appointment to be made. She stated the Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved Jerry Moore <br />to be a County appointee to the Conummity Redevelopment Agency at their January 22, 2013 meeting. She <br />noted for the record that these appointments would be effective until January 2016; however, unless further <br />action was taken to extend it, the CRA was scheduled to sunset in 2015. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Miller moved to reappoint John Jones for a second term and <br />David McGregor for a second term to the Community Redevelopment Agency, <br />terms effective to January 2016. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Hufford. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Miller moved to appoint Matthew Alfred to the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency, term effective to January 2016, and to appoint Jerry <br />Moore (County appointee), term effective to January 2016. Motion was <br />seconded by Vice Mayor Hufford. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5- <br />0. <br />Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board <br />Ms. Gardner noted for the record that Officer Strenth had been selected to serve as the Police Officers' <br />representative for another two-year term, and that Matthew Hettler would continue as the Fire Department's <br />representative. She added that Mr. John Pavlis was the fifth member who was appointed by the Board, and <br />that the Commission, as a ministerial duty, would need to ratify the Board's appointment. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Miller moved to reappoint Daniel Glancy for a third term and <br />Harold Stewart for a third term to the Police Officers' & Firefighters' Pension <br />Board, terms effective to December 31, 2014. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />(The Cit)) Commission did not take action regarding ratification of the fifth member.) <br />Parks and Recreation Advisory Board <br />MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to appoint Jean "Hanna" Evans to the Parks <br />and Recreation Board, term effective to January 2015, and to table the <br />remaining appointment until a determination was made as to whether an <br />additional appointment to the Code Enforcement Board would be needed. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. <br />(MOTION WAS RESCINDED — see page 14 of these minutes.) <br />
