CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes or January 14, 2013 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 5 of 23 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Resolution 13 -2448. <br />D. Resolution 13-2449-2013-2017 Voluntary Cooperation Agreement for the Seminole <br />County Multi-Agency Gang Task Force <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE 2013 -2017 VOLUNTARY COOOPERATION <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE SEMINOLE COUNTY MULTI- AGENCY GANG TASK FORCE <br />BETWEEN THE CITIES OF CASSELBERRY, ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, LAKE MARY, <br />LONGWOOD, OVIEDO, SANFORD, WINTER SPRINGS, THE SANFORD AIRPORT AUTHORITY <br />AND THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 13 -2449 approves renewal of the existing Seminole County Multi- Agency Gang <br />Task Force Voluntary Cooperation Agreement between the cities of Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, lake <br />Mary, Longwood, Oviedo, Sanford, Winter Springs, and the Sanford Airport Authority Police Departments <br />and the Seminole County Sheriff's Office for an additional four years, which will remain in effect until January <br />1, 2017, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Resolution 13 -2449. <br />E.
