City Council Work Session <br />June 25, 1984 <br />Mr. Harmon said he felt quality homes can be built at 1,300 to <br />1,400 square feet and retirement homes in this range was reasonable. <br />Mr. Stone moved to place this item on the regular Agenda for <br />the purpose of setting a date for Public Hearing. Mr. Russo seconded. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />LPA 84 -03, REQUEST OF JOHN A. ZACCO TO AMEND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />Mr. Campbell said the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning <br />Commission /Land Planning Agency on June 13, 1984, reviewed the request of <br />John A. Zacco, Applicant, on behalf of the Owners of 51 percent or more of <br />the are legally described as all of Lots 3 through 22, inclusive, Block A, <br />Sportsman's Paradise, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 8, <br />Pages 12 and 13, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida. The applicant <br />requested that the Comprehensive Plan, Land Use Map classification be changed <br />from the present Low Density (Residential) Classification to the commercial <br />classification for this certain parcel of land. The property involved in- <br />cludes most of the property abutting Seminola Boulevard on the south side <br />which is east of Winter Park Drive and west of Lake Drive. <br />Mr. Campbell said the Planning and Zoning Commission /Land <br />Planning Agency recommended approval of the proposed Comprehensive Plan, Land <br />Use Map change. <br />Mr. Embree asked why Lot #3 was included in this change <br />request? Dr. Zacco said Lot #3 would be a buffer between the professional <br />buildings and the residential area. <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 S. Triplet Lake Drive, was present as <br />representative for Lot #3. He said he felt Lot #3 did not have any residen- <br />tial potential. <br />Mr. Russo said he was concerned about an egress onto Winter <br />Park Drive. Dr. Zacco there would be a right hand turn into the area from <br />Winter Park Drive if you included Lot #3 — you would not be able to exit onto' <br />Winter Park Drive.
