Resolution 12 -2387 — Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with HDR Engineering, Inc. for Construction, Engineering, and Inspection Services for Wirz Trail Section 1 Protect "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE SCOPE OF SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN HDR ENGINEERING, INC. AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR CONSTRUCTION, ENGINEERING AND INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE WIRZ TRAIL SECTION 1 PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 12 -2387 approves and authorizes execution of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with HDR Engineering, Inc. (HDR) in the amount of $9,812.44 for additional construction, engineering and inspection (CEI) services for the Wirz Trail Section 1 Project. Budget Impact: Funding exists in the Bike Path/Pedestrian/Trails Account No. 001- 0410 - 572.63 -89. This account was funded in previous budget years and rolled over into the current fiscal budget for the purpose of supporting design and construction costs associated to the Wirz Trail Bicycle and Pedestrian network. Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 12 -2387. E. Resolution 12 -2389 — Professional Service Agreement with Atkins North America, Inc., for Engineering Design Services Pertaining to the U.S. Highway 17 -92 /State Road 436 Flyover Project and Related Budget Amendment #12 -059 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH ATKINS NORTH AMERICA, INC. FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR UTILITY RELOCATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE US HIGHWAY 17 -92 AND STATE ROAD 436 FLYOVER PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 12 -2389 authorizes execution of a Professional Service Agreement with Atkins North America, Inc. (Atkins) in the amount of $14,885.33 to provide Engineering Design Services to update the City's Water and Wastewater Utility System as it relates to the U.S. Highway 17 -92 /SR 436 Flyover Project. Budget Amendment #12 -059 is necessary to allocate funding to cover the costs associated with this work. Budget Impact: This Agreement is for an amount not to exceed $14,885.33, without prior written approval. Budget Amendment 412 -059 is necessary to allocate the required funding to cover the costs associated with this additional work. Upon approval, funds will be available in the Distribution and Collection Professional Services Account #401- 0751 - 536.31 -00.
