C. Resolution 12 -2386 — Amendment No. 1 to the Acceptance of Grant Funding from the Home Depot Foundation and Related Budget Amendment #12 -058 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,100 TO GRANT AGREEMENT #14729 FROM THE HOME DEPOT FOUNDATION FOR MAINTENANCE AND SECURITY IMPROVEMENTS AT CONCORD CEMETERY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 12 -2386 approves and authorizes acceptance of Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $1,100 to the agreement with The Home Depot Foundation for grant funding to support the Concord Cemetery Renovations Project. Budget Amendment #12 -058 is necessary to recognize and budget this revenue. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #12 -058 will recognize the revenue from The Home Depot Foundation grant in the amount of an additional $1,100, increasing account #001- 0000 - 366.00 -00 and account #001 -0410- 572.46-09 to recognize the value of the materials committed to the project. BA #12 -058: Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to recognize additional grant revenue from the Home Depot Foundation, in the amount of $1,100, for the improvements to Concord Cemetery (PW 1209). On March 12, 2012, via Resolution 12 -2352 and BA #12 -037, City Commission accepted a grant from Home Depot in the amount of $1,900. Grant funds were utilized by the City to purchase paver materials to construct the 324 sq. foot brick pavement around the flag pole at Concord Cemetery. However, additional paver materials were needed to complete the project which exceeded the grant amount. To cover these expenses, Amendment No. 1 with Home Depot will allow for an additional grant of $1,100. Grand funding will be recognized in the Other Misc Revenues /Contributions & Donations revenue account and the Park D- ivision's Repair & Maintenance /Cemetery Grant account will be increased to allow for appropriated expenditures.
